About Us

The Small Team Behind Pep

Pep is built by Shred Apps, LLC — an independent, family-run app studio in Southern California. No venture capital, no pharma ownership, no giant corporation. Just a small team that believes people on GLP-1 medications deserve a tracker built specifically for them.

Our Story

Shred Apps started as a fitness app studio — gym workout planners, home HIIT apps, and training tools used by people all over the world. Then GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro changed how millions of people approach their health, and we noticed something: everyone was tracking their journey in notes apps, spreadsheets, and generic trackers that were never designed for weekly shots, dose escalations, injection-site rotation, or the side effects that come with these medications.

So we built Pep — a free GLP-1 tracker for shots, pills, weight, food, habits, and progress, all in one place. Pep is founder-led: Andrew Bentley, the founder of Shred Apps, still works directly on the product, reads user feedback, and ships improvements every month alongside a small family team. When you email support, a real person who works on the app reads it.

What We Believe

Tracking should be free

GLP-1 medications are expensive enough. Pep is free to download and its core tracking features stay free — doses, weight, side effects, and reminders.

Support, not medical advice

Pep helps you stay consistent and bring better data to your provider. We never tell you what dose to take — that conversation belongs with your healthcare team.

Independence matters

Shred Apps is not owned by a drug manufacturer, pharmacy, or telehealth company. Our only job is making a tracker that works for you.

How We Create Our Content and Tools

Alongside the app, we publish guides on GLP-1 side effects, nutrition, and tracking, plus free calculators for weight-loss projections, dose schedules, costs, missed doses, and protein targets. Everything is grounded in published sources — FDA prescribing information, peer-reviewed clinical trials like STEP and SURMOUNT, and reputable health publishers — and we cite those sources in our articles. We review and update content as labels, prices, and guidance change.

Our content is educational only and is never a substitute for advice from your doctor, pharmacist, or care team. If you spot something outdated or incorrect, contact us — we genuinely want to know, and we fix things fast.
