Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 16, 2025 | Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Shred Apps, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Pep GLP-1 Tracker app (“Pep” or the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can request that it be deleted. By using Pep, you agree to the practices described below.
If you have any questions, contact us at contact@shredapps.com.
1. Information We Collect
Pep is a health-tracking app, and by its nature it collects health-related information you choose to log. Here is a complete breakdown of the data we collect:
Health & Wellness Data
When you use Pep’s tracking features, you may log the following health information:
- GLP-1 medication information — medication name or brand (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or compound/generic equivalents), dosage, injection or dose dates, and injection site rotation
- Weight and body measurements — body weight, body measurements, and related progress data
- Nutrition data — calorie intake, protein, fiber, and water consumption
- Symptoms and side effects — any side effects or symptoms you choose to log while on your GLP-1 journey
- Health habits — habit tracking data you enter, such as exercise, sleep, or wellness routines
Progress Photos
If you use the progress photo feature, Pep accesses your device camera or photo library solely to allow you to save and view progress images within the App. Photos are stored locally on your device. Backing photos up is optional and separate from backing up your other data: on the Account & Backup screen you can turn off “Include progress photos” at any time, and your photos will then never leave your device. If you leave it on, each photo is encrypted on your device, with a key that only your account password can unlock, before it is uploaded, and it is kept in a private area that only your account can access. We cannot view your photos, and they are never shared with third parties. Without an account, photos never leave your device at all.
Account Information
If you create an account (optional), we may collect:
- Name — optional, used for account personalization and communications
- Email address — your sign-in email, also used to send you password-reset and email-change codes, support responses, and important app updates
- Password — stored only as a one-way hash by our authentication provider; we never see or store your actual password
- Devices — the model name of each phone or tablet signed in to your account (for example “iPhone 16 Pro”), so you can see and remove your devices in the App
- Share & Earn program — if you join our referral program, the referral code assigned to you and the payout details you provide
Account & Backup (Cloud Backup and Sync)
Creating an account is optional. If you do, Account & Backup is turned on: while you are signed in, Pep keeps a copy of the health and wellness data listed above (medication and dose history, weights and measurements, nutrition and water, symptoms, notes, goals and units, and reminder settings) on our servers, plus your progress photos only while the “Include progress photos” switch is on. This lets you restore everything on a new phone or after a reinstall simply by signing in, and lets Pro subscribers keep more than one device in sync.
Your backup belongs to your account and is shown only to you. It is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and progress photos are additionally encrypted on your device before upload so that we cannot open them. We do not use backup data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than storing and restoring it for you.
You can stop backing up at any time by signing out on the Account & Backup screen; your data stays on your phone. You can also delete everything stored for your account from the same screen (see Section 6).
Device & Technical Data
We automatically collect certain technical data to keep the App running well:
- Device identifiers — unique device or advertising IDs used for app functionality and analytics
- Crash logs and diagnostics — error reports and performance data collected when the App encounters a problem
- App interaction data — how you navigate and use the App (e.g., features tapped, screens visited), used to improve the product
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data described above to:
- Power the App’s core tracking and reminder features
- Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
- Respond to your support requests and communicate important updates
- Understand how the App is used in aggregate, so we can make it better
- Process your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play
We do not sell your personal information or health data to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising.
3. Data We Share With Third Parties
We share limited, non-health data with trusted third-party service providers solely to operate and improve the App:
- Analytics providers — we share app interaction data, crash logs, and device identifiers with analytics services to understand usage patterns and fix issues. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
- Backup and sign-in infrastructure — accounts and backups are hosted by Supabase on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. Supabase processes this data only on our behalf, under a data processing agreement, to provide sign-in, storage, and restore.
- Transactional email — password-reset and email-change codes are delivered through Resend, which processes your email address only to send those messages.
- Subscription platforms — purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Legal or safety disclosures — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
Your health data (medications, weight, nutrition, symptoms, habits) and progress photos are never shared with third parties for advertising, sold to data brokers, or disclosed for any purpose other than operating your account and providing your backup.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Everything you log in Pep is stored locally on your device. If you create an account, a copy of your health tracking data and, if you choose, your progress photos is also stored on our servers, hosted by Supabase on Amazon Web Services in the United States (Ohio region), together with your account details. Data transferred between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS), and stored data is encrypted at rest. Progress photos are additionally encrypted on your device before upload. If you do not create an account, nothing you log leaves your device.
5. How Long We Retain Your Data
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law:
- Health tracking data stored locally — remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
- Account data (name, email) — retained for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal account information from our servers within 30 days.
- Cloud backup data and photos — kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your cloud backup or your account removes them from our servers immediately, and from our provider’s disaster-recovery backups within 30 days.
- Analytics and crash data — retained by our analytics providers in aggregated or anonymized form for up to 24 months.
- Subscription records — retained as required for billing, tax, and legal compliance purposes (typically up to 7 years).
6. How to Delete Your Data
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. Here’s how:
- Delete tracking data in-app — you can delete individual log entries or clear your data directly within the App settings.
- Delete your cloud backup — in the App, go to Profile → Account & Backup → Delete cloud backup. This removes your backed-up data, photos, and sign-in from our servers; the copy on your phone is kept.
- Delete your account and all data — in the App, go to Profile → Personal & Medicine Information → Delete Account. This removes your data from our servers and from your device. You can also email us at contact@shredapps.com with the subject line “Delete My Account” and we will process the request within 30 days.
- Uninstall the App — uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., for tax or legal compliance).
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or port your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@shredapps.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
8. Children’s Privacy
Pep is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please reach out:
- Email: contact@shredapps.com
- Website: pepglp1.com
Terms of Use
Effective Date: January 1, 2024 | Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Subscription Terms
- Product: Monthly or Yearly Membership
- Membership length: 1 month or 1 year
- Payment will be charged at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the renewal
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user. If purchased through the App Store/Google Play, auto-renewal may be turned off in the user’s Account Settings after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription, where applicable
Accounts and Cloud Backup
- An account is optional. Creating one turns on Account & Backup, which stores a copy of the data you log in Pep on our servers so it can be restored on another device or after a reinstall.
- You are responsible for keeping your email address current and your password confidential. Password resets and email changes are confirmed with a code sent to your email address. Because progress photos are encrypted with a key protected by your password, resetting a forgotten password from a device that is not signed in may make previously backed-up photos unrecoverable; the App warns you before this happens.
- Backup is provided as a convenience. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we cannot guarantee that a backup will always be available or complete, and you should not rely on Pep as your only record of medical information.
- Keeping more than one device in sync at the same time is a Pro feature. Without Pro, one device at a time is the active backup device.
- You may delete your backup or your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service.
- Pep is a tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your prescriber.

Privacy Policy — Pep Strength
Effective Date: September 5, 2026 | Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Shred Apps, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Pep Strength app (“Pep Strength” or the “App”), a strength-training companion to Pep GLP-1 Tracker. Pep Strength is built to keep your data on your device: it has no accounts, no analytics or advertising software, and no servers of ours that receive what you log. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what the App touches and why.
If you have any questions, contact us at contact@shredapps.com.
1. Information the App Stores
Everything below is stored only on your device, in the App’s own storage:
- Workout activity — the sessions you complete, when you completed them and how long they took, how each session felt, your movement days, and your streak
- Step count — if you allow it, the App reads your daily step count from Apple Health and keeps a short cache of recent days so that active days can log themselves. The App does not read any other Health data. If you also grant write access, completed workouts may be saved to Apple Health so they appear alongside your other activity.
- Settings and preferences — your choices inside the App, such as reminders and whether you have been asked for a rating
Pep Strength does not ask for your name or email, does not create an account, does not use analytics or advertising software, and does not collect device or advertising identifiers.
Technical data
Exercise demonstration videos are streamed from Amazon Web Services when you open an exercise. Like any web request, that transfer includes your IP address and standard connection details; we do not use it to identify you and we do not keep logs of it. If you have chosen in iOS settings to share crash and usage data with developers, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymised crash reports.
2. How the App Uses This Information
Solely to run the App on your device: to show your plan, track your sessions and streak, mark movement days from your steps, and remind you when you ask it to. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we cannot see it.
3. Sharing With Pep GLP-1 Tracker
If Pep GLP-1 Tracker is installed on the same device, the two apps exchange a small summary through a shared area that Apple provides for apps from the same developer: Pep Strength shares the dates and durations of your workouts, your streak, and today’s step count so they appear in the Tracker, and the Tracker shares your medication schedule (for example, your dose day) so Pep Strength can plan around it. This exchange happens only on your device and only while both apps are installed. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
4. Data We Share With Third Parties
- Apple Health — step data is read, and workouts may be written, under Apple’s HealthKit rules and only with your permission. Health data is never used for advertising, sold, or disclosed to third parties, and is never sent to our servers.
- Amazon Web Services — delivers the exercise demonstration videos, as described above.
- Sharing features — if you use the share sheet to tell someone about the App, iOS shows what will be sent and you choose the recipient. We do not receive it.
- Legal or safety disclosures — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users, although in practice we hold no personal data about Pep Strength users.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
On your device. Depending on your device settings, it may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, which are governed by Apple’s privacy terms. We operate no servers that store Pep Strength data.
6. Retention and Deletion
- Workout and settings data — remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all of it.
- Apple Health data — managed by you in the Health app, where you can revoke the App’s access or delete entries at any time.
- Shared summary — the summary shared with Pep GLP-1 Tracker is removed when you uninstall either app.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to request deletion of. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will look into it.
7. Children’s Privacy
Pep Strength is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If a future version of Pep Strength adds accounts, cloud backup, or paid features, we will update this policy first, change the “Last Updated” date above, and tell you in the App before any data leaves your device.

Terms of Use — Pep Strength
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Access and Pricing
- Pep Strength is currently free to use as a “Founding Member.” We may introduce paid plans or bundle Pep Strength with a Pep GLP-1 Tracker subscription in the future. If we do, anything you have already logged stays on your device and remains yours.
- Any future subscription will be sold through the App Store and governed by Apple’s subscription terms, with the same renewal and cancellation rules described above for Pep GLP-1 Tracker.
Health and Safety
- Pep Strength provides general strength-training guidance. It is not medical advice and does not replace advice from your doctor, physiotherapist, or a qualified trainer. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you are taking a GLP-1 medication, are pregnant, or have an existing condition or injury.
- You are responsible for choosing loads and movements that are appropriate for you and for exercising with proper form and equipment. Stop and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
- Step counts and other Apple Health data are only as accurate as the devices and apps that record them.
Use of the App
- The App, its exercise programs, and its demonstration videos are owned by Shred Apps, LLC and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
- The App is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for injury or loss arising from your use of it, to the extent permitted by law.
